Araucanía Yarns is a group of artisans and designers dedicated to the artisan dyeing of fibres for weaving and knitting located in Santiago, Chile, on the southwest corner of South America. The random colour placement of Araucania dyes, together with the smooth feel of Araucania yarn blends, will inspire you to create a beautiful and unique project. For even colour distribution, we recommend alternating between skeins while knitting.

Named for Lake Ranco in the south of Chile, Ranco from Araucania is available in subdued, solid colours. This yarn is 75% wool plus 25% nylon and is a good choice for socks, baby clothing, lightweight sweaters and shawls.
